The Order of the White Peacock is an ancient order of shamans that are descended from the planet Venus.  Both the white peacock and a highly revered shaman named Lord Sananda are considered to be the symbols of this order. The birds are regarded as protectors since they guard the order's temple on Venus and cry out to warn when someone is approaching.

Peacocks symbolize beauty, watchfulness and immortality. Peacock gifts include all aspects of beauty, wholeness, ability to see into the past, present and future, immortality, dignity, rising out of ashes, self confidence and watchfulness.  The male peacock is referred to as a Peacock and the female as a Peahen.


Peacock feathers are meaningful to those with the power of death and rebirth, for they also have an association with rising out of the ashes. This is an important facet of wholeness. Wholeness indicates a merging of ones many aspects, without an excessive focus on what appears to be missing. The Peacock and the Peahen, therefore remind us that true beauty comes from the inside.
